Szechuan Pepper Oil

Szechuan Pepper Oil

Lincoln NE, around March 2008

2 c    peanut oil
1/4 c  paprika
1/4 c  pepper flakes
1 head garlic
1/4 c  minced ginger
1 T    toasted sesame oil

bring all to a boil, simmer 1/2 hour.  Cool
to merely hot and filter.
