Fresh corn and tomato salad:

Go to the farmer's market and buy at least
3 ears of corn
two or three tomatoes

Go back home and put the corn, husk and all,
in the microwave at high heat for three minutes.

Wash and dice the tomatoes and put in a bowl

Take the husks off the corn and slice the kernels
into the bowl.

Stir, season to taste (I like freshly ground
black pepper and a little lime juice and hot
sauce and fresh basil) and eat.

Great with tortillas.

Speaking of which, please eat lots, because the Bahiana probably needs
to come out of the water soon.
