Flank Steak Marinade

Flank Steak Marinade

1 1/2 t instant coffee
1/2 c   water
3 T     balsamic vinegar
3 T     brown sugar
1 T     olive oil
3       cloves garlic, minced
2 t     black pepper
3/4 t   salt

Mix all, marionette steak for several hours.

Broil 6-8 min/side, 4-6 inches below broiler
or grill who knows how much and for how long

Made this for family in Ann Arbor, 7feb04.
double marinade recipe, 3 steaks 4 1/2 lbs 
total.  VERY GOOD although I overcooked the
meat somewhat.  Sid liked it (but agreed it
was overcooked)
