Be very careful with this as it would be easy to eat it to the point
of exhaustion or serious illness. Do not leave a large supply within
reach. Make the 6 quarts and hide five of them in places which will
be very difficult to remember and then once every few months you might
come across one of the hidden bottles and enjoy it (until you get sick
again).

The original recipe called for whole boxes of ingredients and made
twelve quarts of mix. This is half a recipe; it is easier to handle
this quantity and it is less dangerous.

Preheat the oven to 250 degrees

In a saucepan, combine:

1 pound unsalted butter
1 cup white sugar
2 t garlic powder (original recipe called for 1 t)
3 t Worcestershire Sauce
1/2 t salt
Bring to a boil and simmer for 3 minutes

Combine in a large bowl:

 7 ounces Rice Chex
 7 ounces Wheat Chex
 7 ounces Corn Chex
 8 ounces stick pretzels
22 ounces dry roasted Macademia nuts

Drizzle the simmering butter mixture over the cereals while
gently tossing. Gently toss and stir the bowl full until all pieces
are coated evenly.

Bake in the oven for one hour. Every 15 minutes, remove the bowl from
the oven and stir gently but thouroughly, making sure to scrape any
butter or caramelized sugar off the bottom of the bowl

Remove from oven and spread out on paper to cool.

Store in air-tight jars.

Don't eat it all at once.
